Brief Description: Innovations in biomedical science, data science, engineering, and technology are critical to addressing health disparities, including among Black Americans. While not written by an individual Black author, the collection is authored by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, along with the National Academy of Medicine, who created a Committee on Creating a Framework for Emerging Science, Technology, and Innovation in Health and Medicine.
